Is organic farming really about animal welfare or a way to clear a guilty consumer conscience? Does the answer lie in consuming animal products that are supposedly ‘humanely’ produced? This simulated online dating app is an educational tool that portrays itself as a unique supermarket experience, allowing a desirable consumer and a pig to interact & match to make a tasty ‘ethical’ dinner. The animals are humanised by providing comical dating profiles for the hope of consensual matching of attributes that finally appeases the taste buds of their consumer. However, the animals are not aware of the horrors that await in the slaughterhouse. You choose to eat/not eat the pig by swiping left or right on the pig profiles until there is a match. The pigs have supposedly carried out the same task. It is a satire on the politics of organic food and forms a commentary about todays fast-paced and confused society.
